Step off the treadmill of failed New Year’s resolutions by learning a simple detox practice you can do anywhere, anytime, with only water and your breath.

I was fortunate to learn this practice from Chumba Lama, a delightful teacher of breathing and movement yoga.

I have taught this series in the past as part of the Nourish:Ayurveda-inspired 21-day Detox. This year, I have decided to teach it on its own as a powerful practice for your new year.

This is one of the best practices in my repertoire and fun to share. We will spend our time together in practice.

I’ve had clients lose up to 11 pounds in 3 weeks of practice, with no dietary changes. This breath work helps the body eliminate waste, especially years of compacted material that can make the body toxic over time.

It also shines up the chakras beautifully, opening the energetic channels of the body.

No experience necessary, though it is not advised for expectant mothers or those who have recently undergone heart or stomach surgeries.

**Warning: snorting and bouts of laughter may erupt during practice.
